Bond And Beer

 

 

The HMSS Weblog addressed the controversy over the product-placement arrangement between the James Bond film producers and Heineken.

In the upcoming Bond film Skyfall, James Bond, portrayed by Daniel Craig (seen in the above poster) will drink a Heineken beer - or two.

Ian Fleming's iconic character is more known for his drinking martinis - shaken, not stirred - but as the HMSS Weblog points out, Bond did enjoy an occasional beer in Fleming's novels and short stories, usually with a light meal.

Note: I'm still annoyed that the film producers replaced Bond's Rolex watch with an Omega.
