Happy Belated Birthday To Patrick McGoohan
Happy belated birthday to the late great actor, writer and television producer Patrick McGoohan, who was born on March 19th in 1928. He died on January 13, 2009 at the age of 80.
Patrick McGoohan starred in a good number of films like Ice Station Zebra and Braveheart, but he is mostly known for two classic television series in the 1960s.
He first starred as John Drake in the intelligent, clever and realistic Danger Man (called Secret Agent the U.S.) and later as the captive secret agent called "Number 6" in the brilliant and innovative The Prisoner. I was a huge fan of both series when I was a teenager in the 60s and I remain one today.
