James “Whitey” Bulger today was walloped by a legal blow when a federal judge rejected the long push by his defense team to argue to jurors that the gangster had a decades-old immunity agreement with law enforcement.
“The court .... allows the government’s motion to preclude Bulger from raising the alleged claim of immunity to the jury at his upcoming trial,” Federal Judge Denise J. Casper ruled.
