Cruise Ship Industry Releases Crime Data For First Time
Jerry Hume at Central Florida's 13 News offers a piece on cruise ship crime.
PORT CANAVERAL -- Thousands of passengers will be making their way to Brevard County to embark on a cruise.
For the first time, you can check out what kind of serious crimes happen on those big ships.
The largest U.S.-based cruise lines, including the three that call Port Canaveral home, have started posting crime data on their websites.
Carnival, Royal Caribbean, Disney and Norwegian have all given in to growing pressure from Congress to disclose serious crimes at sea.
The numbers show many more crimes were reported to security personnel than were made known to the public. But it’s still minuscule to the millions on cruise ships every year.
You can read the rest of the piece and link to the cruise lines' crime statistics via the below link:

Did you know that a 'Paul Davis' is using your name to author books called 'Cruise Ship Crimes.. medical mysteries.' This self proclaimed author has an amateur ghost writer and fabricated his own reviews. His publicist is aware of the fraud. DO A GOOGLE SEARCH. I would not want MY reputation soiled by this unethical author.
ReplyDeletePaul Davis is a very common name, so there is little I can do about other people who share the name.
ReplyDeleteAnother Paul Davis was a singer-songwriter who wrote and performed the popular song "I Go Crazy.'
