Cool Navy Photo: Seahawk Helicopters Over The Gulf Of Oman
The above U.S. navy photo shows a Navy MH-60S Seahawk helicopter, (on the bottom), assigned to Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 7 and an MH-60R Seahawk helicopter (top) assigned to Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 74 patrol near the aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75) in the Gulf of Oman Oct. 3, 2013.
The carrier, the flagship for the Harry S. Truman Carrier Strike Group, was deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet. The Carrier Strike Group is conducting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
