The Most Interesting Man In The World And The War On Terrorism
I wonder . . . with the proliferation of bigger, faster, and more lethal drones . . . perhaps the swan-song for carriers is on the horizon. I hope not. But technology has a way of surprising us.
I don't think so. Carriers are needed for power projection, as well as being a huge, floating airfield that can deliver fighters, bombers and surveillance aircraft any where in the world on short notice.
Also, carriers will no doubt be launching drones in the near future.
