'Barney Miller' Star Ron Glass Dead At 71

The New York Post reports that actor Ron Glass, a cast member of the cop comedy Barney Miller, had died. He was 71.

Glass portrayed a dapper detective who dreamed of becoming a writer and eventually his character published a police thriller called Blood on the Badge. 

I was and am a fan of the old TV series and the many cast members, including Rod Glass.
