On This Day In History Wyatt Earp Died in Los Angeles
As History.com notes, on this day in 1929 Wyatt Earp died.
Nearly 50 years after the famous gunfight at the O.K. Corral, Wyatt Earp dies quietly in Los Angeles at the age of 80.

Note: I've read a good number of books on Wyatt Earp, but I especially liked Casey Tefertiller's Wyatt Earp: The Life Behind the Legend.
