On This Day In History Michael Shaara, Author Of 'The Killer Angels,' Was Born

As History.com notes, on this day in 1929 Pulitzer Prize-winning author Michael Shaara (seen in the below photo) was born.

His novel about the Battle of Gettysburg during the Civil War, The Killer Angels, is one of my favorite historical novels.
