A Little Humor: My Favorite Animal
I was always a class clown in school.
I recall when our 6th grade teacher asked us what our favorite animal was.
I said, “Fried chicken.”
The teacher didn’t think that was funny, but the class did.
The teacher sent me to the principal’s office, and he laughed but told me not to do jokes like that again.
The next day, my teacher asked us what our favorite live animal was.
I told him it was chicken.
He asked me why, and I said, “Because you can make the live chicken into fried chicken.”
He didn’t think that was funny, but the class did.
He sent me to the principal’s office again.
The principal laughed once more, but he told me to stop clowning around in class.
The following day the teacher asked me what famous person I admired the most.
I said, “Colonel Sanders.”
I had a lot of fun in school, but I didn’t learn much, which is why I’m not a wealthy doctor living in a mansion in Gladwyne, PA today.
Note: The above is my 6th grade graduation photo.
